How the interested parties register helps

Interested parties are the people and organisations whose needs the management system has to take into account. The register is that list, and the link from a party to an implemented control is how you show which needs are covered.

What a party record is for

Each party has a reference beginning with IP. Filtering by type and status is how a review finds the parties that are still active and the ones that need another look.

  • Who they are. The party, whether they are internal or external, and the relationship.
  • What they need. Their interest, their needs and expectations, and the basis of any obligation.
  • Whether it is current. Active, under review, or archived, with a last-reviewed date and the triggers that should prompt another review.
  • What meets the need. The implemented controls linked to that party. A need with no control is a gap that stays visible.

When you need to change it

The interested parties register and reviews and linked controls describe the fields.
