Audit checklists and findings

The checklist is where the audit is actually done. Open it from the schedule row, or from a calendar event. The header shows the audit title. Save when you have recorded the judgements.

Record a result

Each question shows its text, and the domain or sub domain when those were set on the bank. Set the result and write the notes or objective evidence.

  • Conform. The requirement is met.
  • Non-conformity. It is not met. This is the only result that allows you to raise a non-conformity.
  • Observation / evidence note. Something to record without calling it a failure.
  • Not applicable. The question does not apply to this audit.
  • Not set. Leave it blank until you have looked.

Raise a finding

From the question you can raise an opportunity for improvement or a risk at any time. Raise NC is available only when the result is non-conformity. The notes you have already typed are carried into the new record as evidence.

Raised items stay linked on the checklist row. You can remove a linked non-conformity from that row. The overview then counts non-conformities, opportunities for improvement, and risks against the audit, including in the yearly history.

When the audit is finished

Save the checklist, then set the audit status to completed on the schedule if the work is done. An audit with some answers and some blanks still shows as a checklist in progress on the overview.
