Anything you mark as by request stays locked until you decide the visitor may see it. Access requests are that decision.
What the visitor does
On the public Trust Centre they can see public resources immediately. A by-request asset or document is marked as needing a login. They can request access or sign in if you have already approved them.
What you can change
Open Trust Centre, then Access requests. Each request is pending, approved, denied, or revoked.
- Approve so the visitor can sign in and open by-request resources.
- Deny a request you do not want to grant.
- Revoke someone who was approved and should no longer get in.
Who still has access
The overview counts pending requests and active customers. Active customers are people who can currently sign in. Revoking access removes that, without deleting the assets or documents they were allowed to see.
Visibility itself is changed on assets and documents, not on the request.
