Status is the lifecycle of the obligation on the register. It is not a judgement of whether you currently comply.
The three values
- Draft. You are still capturing the obligation.
- Active. It applies, and the owner is accountable for the response.
- Retired. It no longer applies. The row stays so the history is not lost.
What the counts use
Active is the count of rows whose status is active. Regulatory and contractual counts use the type, not the status. Change either field from the register.
