Implemented control details

Open the control and go to Details. Nothing on this tab is kept until you choose Save details. Save stays disabled until something has changed.

Identity

  • ID. The reference used in the register and for sorting. Numbered IDs sort before rows with no reference.
  • Title. The short name in lists and headers. Keep the formal wording in Requirement.
  • Category and sub-category. How you group the control. Sub-category is optional.
  • Summary. A short plain-language overview. How you operate it belongs on Implementation, Monitoring & RACI.

Requirement, intention, and status

Requirement is what must be done, usually the normative wording. Intention is why the control exists: the outcome, or the risks it addresses. Notes are extra context.

Status is the lifecycle: draft, planned, in progress, implemented, or retired. It drives the filter on the register. Retired hides the control from the default list. It does not delete it.
