Use Add Communication. Most fields are required. Approved by appears only when approval is required.
Fields
- Communication. A short name, such as “Annual ISMS policy update”.
- Communication type. Chosen from Configuration.
- Management system(s). The enabled frameworks this message applies to.
- Internal or external. Staff and contractors, or customers, suppliers, and regulators.
- Recipients and originators. Who gets it, and who sends it.
- Timing and mechanism for sending. When, and how. Both come from Configuration.
- Approval required. Yes or no. If yes, record who must approve it.
- Status. Draft while planning, Active when in use, Retired when no longer required.
- Notes. Optional context or follow-up.
Change a row
View, edit, or delete from the row. If you set approval back to no, the approver field is no longer part of that row.
