Open Asset Management, then Configuration. The route is /app/asset-management/configuration. These lists are what people can choose when they add or edit an asset.
The four lists
Changing a list changes the choices on the register. It does not invent a second inventory.
- Asset types. Categories such as hardware, software, services, or data. They group the register, the filters, and the reports.
- Classifications. Information-handling labels, such as internal, confidential, or restricted.
- Criticality levels. How important an asset is if it is disrupted or unavailable. The overview’s high-criticality count uses the value high.
- Statuses. Lifecycle states such as active, planned, retired, or disposed. Active is the status the overview counts.
